Women Voters Oppose Medicare Cuts to Pediatric Speech Therapy

• 46% know a child with autism—in their own family or elsewhere—who has received or may need speech-language therapy.
• 87% believe speech-language therapy is effective at improving a child's speech and communication.
• 79% Oppose the proposed -13% pediatric speech therapy cut
• 84% Are concerned the cut will impact communication and connection for children with autism
• 65% say the cut is at odds with the administration's stated autism priorities, including helping children with autism communicate.
• 52% support President Trump taking action to stop the proposed cut.

Methodology: Survey conducted by National Research Inc. among 1,000 female registered voters nationwide in the United States, September 2–6, 2026. The survey was conducted 100% text-to-online.
